Jianlong Beiman Special Steel Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jianlong Beiman), a subsidiary of Beijing Jianlong Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd., is the only special steel manufacturing plant among the 156 key national projects constructed during China's First Five-Year Plan period.Founded in 1952, the company was fully completed and put into operation on November 3, 1957. Since its commissioning, it has been committed to supplying critical special steel materials for national defense, military industry, and major technical equipment in various sectors of the country. It has provided key alloy steel materials for numerous "China's firsts" independently developed by the country, including the first heavy artillery, the first heavy tank, the first nuclear submarine, the first fighter jet, the first man-made earth satellite, the first 10,000-ton ocean-going vessel, the first atomic energy reactor, and the first intercontinental ballistic missile.At present, Jianlong Beiman operates four top-quality special steel production lines that are first-class in China and internationally advanced, namely a special steel wire rod production line for products ranging from φ5mm to φ25mm, a small bar production line for φ20mm to φ120mm products, a heavy bar production line for φ80mm to φ310mm products, and a distinctive forging product production line.The company’s main bar and wire rod products cover bearing steel, automotive steel, railway steel, engineering machinery steel, mining steel, marine steel, petroleum steel, spring steel, cord steel, steel strand steel, welding wire steel, cold heading steel, reducer steel, boiler tube blanks, quenched and tempered steel, etc. Its main forging products include cold rolling roll blanks, bearing steel, tool and die steel, stainless steel, blower steel, marine steel, high-pressure boiler tube blanks, reducer steel, petroleum steel, and more.These products are widely used in bearing manufacturing, automobile manufacturing, construction machinery manufacturing, aerospace equipment, ocean engineering equipment, high-tech ships, advanced rail transit equipment, energy-saving and new energy, power equipment, and other fields.Its core bearing steel has passed certifications from international giants such as Schaeffler (Germany), SKF (Sweden), and Timken (US); automotive steel has been certified by internationally renowned companies including Cummins, Caterpillar, General Motors (US), and Honda (Japan), and has repeatedly won the title of "Product with Excellent Quality in Metallurgical Industry"; marine steel has obtained certifications from nine major classification societies including DNV (Norway), BV (France), and ABS (US). Core technologies for railway axle steels such as LZ45CrV, DZ1, and DZ2 have been granted national invention patents. The company is the first domestic developer of Cr5, Cr6, Cr8, semi-high-speed and other series of roll steels, whose quality has reached the international advanced level. Quenched and tempered steel, mining steel, and other steels for engineering machinery, petroleum, and marine industries are exported to 35 countries and regions across Europe, America, Asia, Africa, etc.Jianlong Beiman is a national-level high-tech enterprise, housing a provincial-level enterprise technology center, a CNAS-accredited laboratory, and the Heilongjiang High-Quality Special Steel Engineering Technology Research Center. Products include automotive steel, bearing steel, rail transit steel, energy steel, marine steel, construction machinery steel, quenched and tempered steel, roll steel, etc. Industrial wire rod products consist of steel for automotive and construction machinery fasteners, steel for automotive bearing rolling elements, high-strength spring steel for automobiles, and other products.With an annual production capacity of 1 million tons, the company is equipped with two independent fully continuous high-speed wire rod production lines: Line A (SMS group) and Line B (Morgan Construction Company), supported by two walking beam furnaces, Stelmor controlled cooling lines, Swedish Sundstrand packers, and other equipment.It can produce wire rods in the specification range of φ5.0–26 mm. Coil diameters are φ1250 mm / φ850 mm, bundled coil height ranges from 1700 mm to 2000 mm, and coil weight ranges from 2000 kg to 2500 kg.
