UK tech company BSL has developed Cold Agglomerated Pellets (CAPs) technology, which significantly reduces carbon emissions and energy consumption in blast furnace steel production, providing a viable solution for greener steel. The trial proved that CAPs can replace a portion of traditional indurated pellets while maintaining furnace performance.

For the fastener industry, steel is a core raw material. With the adoption of low-carbon, environmentally friendly steel, fastener production can benefit from a more sustainable supply chain, delivering green, high-performance fasteners for automotive, construction, aerospace, and other industries.

BSL plans to establish its first commercial production facilities in the UK, Europe, and Canada, promoting the global use of green steel and creating opportunities for fastener companies to secure low-carbon material supply in advance.
