According to the 2025-2030 China Fastener Industry Prospect Report, the global fastener market is expected to surpass $150 billion in 2025, a 74% increase from 2023. China, as the world’s largest producer, will see its market reach CNY 167.5 billion, driven largely by high-performance products. Rapid growth in the new energy vehicle (NEV) sector, with 8 million units produced this year, has boosted fastener sales to CNY 12 billion, accounting for 26.7% of the market. The rise of 800V high-voltage platforms has also driven a 25% annual increase in demand for high-grade bolts, while aerospace and renewable energy sectors continue to fuel demand, with large aircraft and offshore wind turbines requiring fasteners meeting strict performance and fatigue standards.

Chinese manufacturers have overcome production bottlenecks for high-performance stainless steel bolts, establishing stable, zero-defect processes. Precision annealing, surface polishing, and specialized coatings have reduced tensile strength fluctuations, enhancing reliability. These advanced fasteners are widely applied in NEVs, aerospace, and high-end manufacturing, lowering procurement costs and shortening production cycles.

Exports reached $7.97 billion in the first eight months of 2025, with emerging markets, particularly Belt and Road countries and Central Europe, driving growth. Inland and western regions are expanding faster, reflecting a shift from coastal-centric production to multi-point export patterns. The industry is embracing high-performance materials, intelligent fasteners, and green manufacturing. According to forecasts, China’s fastener market will reach CNY 450 billion by 2030, with a 7–8% CAGR, as technological advances and market expansion continue to elevate China’s global share of high-end fasteners.
